This album comprises of a hearty selection of cover tunes including the likes of Sonny and Cher, Vashti Bunyan, The Kinks, Big Star, Bruce Springsteen and plenty more. A major highlight of this album is their cover of The Minutemen’s “History Lesson, part 2” which features a contributing guest vocal by Sonic Youth‘s Lee Ranaldo (who is about to drop his solo album Between the Times & The Tides this coming March on Matador). Ranaldo had previously performed the tune with the guys in Delicate Steve this past May, celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the release of Michael Azerrad’s “Our Band Could Be Your Life”.
